In October 2025, thanks to a grant by the Cegep Federation and with the support of Cegep Édouard Montpetit, I traveled to Quito to give teaching pedagogy workshops to the 30 teachers at Amawtay Wasi University and its language school. This indigenous and intercultural university offers language classes in Ecuador's native languages as welll as in ESL and we collaborated on a teaching class to adapt acitve teaching methods.
